1Offer available beginning June 1, 2026, to individuals who are not currently members of Pima Federal Credit Union (Pima Federal) and who open a new CareFREE Plus Checking account in person at the Gladden Farms branch. Offer may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice. To qualify for the $250 New Checking Account Bonus, the primary account owner must: (1) enroll in eStatements; (2) receive a minimum aggregate direct deposit of $1,000 into the new CareFREE Plus Checking account; and (3) complete at least 20 qualifying debit card purchase transactions using the Pima Federal debit card associated with the new account. Qualifying requirements must be completed within 60 calendar days of account opening. Qualifying direct deposits include electronic deposits of payroll, pension, Social Security, or other government benefits. Internal transfers, transfers between accounts, person-to-person payments, mobile deposits, ATM deposits, and dividend deposits do not qualify toward the direct deposit requirement. Qualifying debit card transactions include signature-based and PIN-based purchase transactions. ATM transactions, cash advances, returned purchases, disputed transactions, and other non-purchase transactions do not qualify. The $250 New Checking Account Bonus will be deposited into the qualifying CareFREE Plus Checking account on or about the 61st day following account opening, provided all requirements have been satisfied and the account remains open and in good standing at the time of bonus payment. Employees of Pima Federal and their immediate family members are not eligible. Membership required and subject to approval. A minimum $5 deposit into a Regular Savings account is required to establish membership. Bonus may be reported to the IRS as required by law. Limit one bonus per member. Other restrictions may apply.

To receive the $50 opening bonus, the account must be opened in person at the Gladden Farms branch. Offer is subject to change or end at any time. Limit one bonus per eligible youth member and a maximum of five (5) bonuses per household. Accounts closed within six months of opening are subject to forfeiture of the bonus, which will be deducted from the account balance or must be repaid if insufficient funds are available. All account applications are subject to approval.

To earn 4.25% APY, you must have a Pima Federal CareFREE Plus Checking account with e-statements and at least $1,000 in monthly direct deposits (excludes internal transfers and dividends). Otherwise, the rate is 4.00% APY. Minimum opening deposit is $250 in new money (funds not currently on deposit with Pima Federal). This rate is valid by opening a new Term Share Certificate at the Gladden Farms branch. Going below the minimum balance required may reduce earnings.
